A message from Gail

Hi, I'm Gail Harris, programming director for MyPathTV.. Welcome! Whether you're just a few steps into the journey, or well along your own spiritual path, we're so glad you found us. You're among friends here... an entire community of like-minded people. Wherever you are, whatever's on your mind, whether you're looking for information or inspiration, or both, mypathtv is here to help you -- with more than 500 hours of films and videos you can watch anywhere, anytime, and as many times as you want.

If you've been with us for a while, you've already noticed we have redesigned our website to make it more intuitive and user-friendly. The new navigation menu on the left side of each page should make it easier for you to find what you're looking for among our vast selection of programs. Plus, we've added blogs, podcasts and columns to deepen your experience. You'll also find a weekly "Editor's Choice," which represents  films and videos from the MyPath library we think you'll especially enjoy.

This week we take you to Plum Village in France, for an exclusive interview with  Zen master Thicht Nhat Hanh, who explains simply and clearly how anyone can bring more peace and compassion to their daily experience of life.  We also look into another kind of nourishment, this time the physical kind, at a cooking retreat in Canada.   Author Sarah Ban Breathnac shows how to find happiness in the little moments of everyday life, instead of thinking that only life's big events can bring us joy.  And Larry Dossey, M.D., reminds us of the sustaining power of prayer, whether we're facing a physical or spiritual challenge.

What's new this week includes a demonstration of yoga poses to un-kink your back and bring new suppleness and strength to the bones you rely on for support every day.  We also follow cancer patient Lenny Zakim as he deals with the challenges of cancer by combining traditional therapies with complementary ones.  You can check out what your dreams might be trying to tell you with "The Secret Language of Dreams."  And finally,  take a look at the  provocative film "Crisis of Faith,"  for an alternate explanation of what's at stake when the economy takes a downturn.  It's a real eye-opener.

As always... we're delighted to bring you  "Ask Jane," by spiritual life coach Jane Straus, author of "Enough is Enough!: Stop Enduring and Start Creating Your Extraordinary Life." She's been a keynote speaker, seminar leader and life coach for more than 20 years, and she's here to offer good advice from a spiritual perspective. Send her your questions by e-mail to askjane@mypathtv.com, and she'll answer as many as possible right here on the site.

Please remember: we're here for YOU. So write us at feedback@mypathtv.com with your ideas of what you like and what we can do better -- and most importantly, how we can help you along YOUR path.
